Common questions

Answers before you decide.

What our non-clinical service includes, what is confirmed in your quote, and how to start without sharing sensitive records.

Are you a medical provider?

We provide non-clinical coordination and language support. Diagnosis and treatment belong with qualified healthcare professionals. We do not provide emergency care.

Can a family member pay?

Yes. Payment does not give a family member access to patient information. Any later records handling needs patient permission and an agreed secure process. Medical-file uploads are not currently open on this website.

What if an appointment cannot be booked?

We refund the standalone $49 USD appointment coordination fee if we cannot secure the written booking target by the deadline in your accepted quote. We agree the hospital or department, acceptable alternatives and attempt window before starting. Package cancellations and third-party charges follow the terms in your quote. See Service & refund information below for details.

Which cities and languages?

Our main service cities are Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, with English–Chinese support. Other cities in China are considered on enquiry. We confirm local personnel, dates, language capability and any travel costs before accepting a service.

What does the visit time cover?

Half-day and full-day support allow up to four or eight hours respectively. Before payment, your quote defines the appointment, campus, meeting and finish times, how waiting and travel time are counted, and any overtime rate. Extra departments, tests or travel between hospitals need a scope check and your approval. Hospital charges are separate.

Is specialist medical interpreting included?

General English–Chinese communication support is agreed around the assigned person’s capabilities. Specialist medical interpreting or extensive translation must be explicitly confirmed and quoted. Our coordinator does not interpret clinical findings or make treatment decisions.

Can I send records for the document services?

You can ask about scope and pricing now, but medical-file uploads are not currently open on this website. Do not send records by email or WeChat. Any document service can start only after a suitable secure transfer process, hospital permissions where needed, and patient authorisation have been agreed.

What is the free initial enquiry?

A conversation about the practical help you need, service availability and likely scope. It is not a medical consultation, examination or diagnosis, and does not commit you to a paid package.

How do payment and hospital fees work?

This website does not collect online payments. Your written quote confirms the payment method, currency, recipient and service terms before you pay. Hospital and approved third-party fees are separate from our coordination fee. Do not send card details through email or WeChat.

Who will support my visit?

The chinapatientsupport team coordinates your enquiry. The assigned coordinator, relevant experience, language capability and working hours are confirmed for your specific service before payment. Coordination staff do not replace licensed healthcare professionals.

How soon will I hear back?

We aim to reply to email and WeChat enquiries within two business days, Monday–Friday, Beijing time (UTC+8). Research and booking deadlines are agreed in your quote. Hospital response times and appointment availability vary.

What if a hospital cannot accept an international patient?

We check the hospital’s registration requirements for your request. If it cannot accept the booking, we explain the outcome and discuss alternatives with you. We do not substitute a hospital or change the agreed scope without your approval; the agreed booking target and refund terms still apply.

How should I share or delete my information?

Start with your city, dates, preferred language and the help you need. Do not email or message medical records or passport copies. Any later medical-file handling requires a separately agreed secure process and patient permission. To request access, corrections or deletion, contact support@chinapatientsupport.com. We verify your identity and explain any records we must retain; the privacy notice describes storage and retention.

For booking and cancellation details, read Service & refund information. For entry requirements, see Visa & entry. In an emergency in China, call 120; our enquiry channels are not emergency services.
