Hospital visit support in Shenzhen

Plan a Shenzhen hospital appointment, distinguish general and international services, and arrange English–Chinese companion support.

Use the right appointment channel

HKU-Shenzhen Hospital publishes separate general-outpatient and International Medical Center booking contacts. Its online channels do not cover every department, and booking in person does not guarantee a same-day consultation. Check the route for your exact request.

If you are travelling via Hong Kong

A hospital appointment in Shenzhen does not establish permission to enter mainland China. Check your own entry documents and the documents for any companion before arranging a cross-border journey. See our Visa & entry guide for official sources.

  • Confirm the mainland hospital address, appointment time and registration requirements.
  • Allow for border formalities when agreeing the meeting time; transfers are not included automatically.
  • Do not assume a Hong Kong resident booking channel is suitable for every overseas passport holder.
  • Agree how waiting time and any travel are counted within companion hours.

Our support in Shenzhen

We help with appointment coordination and the practical steps of an agreed visit. English–Chinese communication, personnel and dates are confirmed in your quote. A cross-border transfer, medical transport or emergency response is not part of the standard companion package.

A hospital guide to get started

Independent planning information. Listing a hospital does not imply a partnership, endorsement or guaranteed access. Hospitals decide whether they can accept a request and which clinical services are appropriate.
