Choose the service as well as the hospital
Shanghai's official hospital directory lists international-service information for institutions including Ruijin, Renji and Huadong. A hospital name alone does not identify your appointment location or price. Confirm the specific service, campus and department with the hospital.
Keep your visit plan location-specific
Avoid booking accommodation or a second appointment until you know where the first visit will take place.
- Save the confirmed campus address in Chinese as well as English.
- Check whether the registration, consultation and any later tests are at the same site.
- Ask about interpreter availability, payment methods and insurance billing before relying on them.
- Leave space between appointments; a consultation does not guarantee same-day tests or results.
